Weddings are visual bonanzas for photographers like me. I tell stories with pictures, and I feel like a photojournalist that has found a new life in photographing weddings. Keep scrolling down for my rates.
For over thirty years, I photographed news stories and sports for newspapers. The number one rule in photojournalism is do not interfere with reality. This has defined my style as a wedding photographer.
Weddings are fast moving, just like sports. Weddings are a story that unfolds right in front of everyone’s eyes. There are key moments that require photographic attention, and moments that only I see and catch to create an image that delights and a memory that lasts. I do all of this with an active eye that is attentive and nearly always in the right spot to get the best shot.
Many of the skills I have in photojournalism are in use at a wedding. At nearly every wedding, there are portraits, action photos, photostories to tell, moments to capture, and I am constantly moving to find different angles to tell the story in a different way.
